Khan Porter is a professional CrossFit Athlete and player on the DC Brawlers Grid team in the USA. He is a highly sought after functional fitness coach and has worked with athletes of all levels across all sports as well as helping everyday people achieve strength, fitness and body composition goals they’ve never dreamed of.

We start with asking Khan about his foray into the world of psychology. He explains how he got into it, and later on talks about shining some light on the bullshit surrounding certain areas of psychology. Much further in, Khan talks about what it really means to be motivated and to motivate people.

The boys cover more topics such as the recent news surrounding the death of a pornstar, shed more light on some social media problems, the importance of mindfulness, as well as asking the question “are you okay?” to people that are troubled.

Another solid show! It was great to have Khan back on, and it was a very deep albeit humor ridden convo. Enjoy the episode, guys, and make sure to takeaway as much as you can.

Geraint F. Lewis is a Welsh astrophysicist, best known for his work on dark energy, gravitational lensing and galactic cannibalism. Lewis is a Professor of Astrophysics at the Sydney Institute for Astronomy. He is currently Deputy Director of the Sydney Informatics Hub, a core facility of the University of Sydney.

We kick it off with Geraint briefly giving us his background right before jumping into the thick of it with a topic such as dark matter. The topic shifts to human knowledge and the limits of our understanding, then onto multiverse theory, physics and the Big Bang! Tommy chimes in with questions about God and science, then proceeds to ask Geraint about his views on religion.

The conversation gets better and better as they verge into the realm of super intelligent AI’s, a bit of politics, more on multiverse theory, looking for signs of life in the universe, intelligence and consciousness.

This episode is a definitely a ripper! Geraint was great to have, and we just had so many questions we wanted to ask. Sadly, our time was limited - so here’s 2 hours of pure science-y goodness for all of you. Enjoy the show, guys!

Fro the title Doc, just choose between Dating or Timelining. I didn't know which sounded better, or of people would understand "Dating" in the sense of time.

Wim Hof is a Dutch daredevil, commonly nicknamed "The Iceman" for his ability to withstand extreme cold. He holds 21 Guinness world records, including a world record for longest ice bath at 1 hour and 52 minutes.

We kick off this awesome conversation with Wim by hearing how his amazing journey all began. We then delve into his breathing techniques and how he associates these with the human mindset. Of course, the critics are there so we also hear how he deals with the naysayers.

Further into the conversation, we talk about the science experiment performed on Wim and its interesting findings. We then hear about what actually goes on in his mind as he performs his endurance feats, and touch a little on the difference between his breathing techniques and mindfulness meditation. Our crew goes on to discuss the future of research for extreme human endurance.

Wrapping up, the gang discusses things that should be taught at school, what’s next for Wim, his proudest moment so far and the classic 6 from 6.

Epic conversation with a living legend. We hope you enjoy this very much, guys!
