A native of Lynchburg, Virginia, Christmas currently runs her own CrossFit facility, as well as works as a Head Trainer for CrossFit HQ. A couple of things under her belt also is embracing the challenge of changing tires with NASCAR pit crews and is ranked in national-level olympic lifting. Her bio is ever-evolving so keep your eyes peeled for Christmas guys!

First up in this podcast, Christmas shares about who she is and then moves to tell her past unhealthy lifestyle, experiences in the army, and struggles with addiction. These lead up to how she channeled the tendency to more health-oriented pursuits and what has become of it. Moving further into the conversation, Christmas talks more about the ‘Badass Body’ and gets into the meaty details of fitness nutrition. Lots of great insights in there!

Being a fitness entrepreneur, she also shares how she keeps her face photo-ready in the simplest ways possible. Conversation then takes a lighthearted turn to our crew sharing the weirdest situation they’ve been in while buck naked!

As the final piece, Christmas Abbott shares about building a fitness brand. She shares about the social media platforms for building a brand and staying true to your passion. Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, the works. Marketing, building a database. She wraps it up by sharing how she stayed consistent and reached her recent successes and as an entrepreneur. Check out more about Christmas on www.christmasabbott.com.

We had tons of fun in this convo with Christmas guys. We hope you enjoy this episode!

In the second installation of this two-part interview, Dianne, Bill, Mac and Tom continue the conversation from the previous episode and talk about how the government structure will initially work in Mars once it’s actually there. Leadership and politics, ladies and gents! Dianne shares with us the plan.

Moving forward with the conversation, it gets more interesting as Dianne shares how the initial phases of living will be like in the planet, growing the human population, and how we could potentially harness the natural resources on Mars. She also outlines how food growing systems are to be integrated and what the top food picks are for living extraterrestrial life.

Further, they talk about the possibility of encountering extraterrestrial life and what that potentially means for humanity in general, as well as terraforming Mars.

Towards the end of the conversation we learn more about Dianne’s methods on biohacking and everything else she does to maximise her life.

Great thoughts packed in this episode. Enjoy guys!

All your favourite segments appear along the way with Macca telling us about his Croatian boating adventures where he nearly went missing forever and Doc's finishes with a destination review of Bolivia then bombs us with a putrid story about a home made man nappy after about getting sick in Bolivia! This podcast is supported by Atlanta Orchards. Atlanta Orchards are a family run company (Doc's family in fact) and provide quality apples to the state of Victoria, Australia. They would like to promote their new kanzi and greenstar apples. Greenstars, the first 100 per cent non-browning apples are a cross between a granny smith and a delbarestivale apple. The apples are green, sweet, juicy, have a thin skin and have the highest vitamin C content of any apple, which helps keep them naturally white for days after cutting. The kanzi is the number one apple sold in Europe and is bright red and crunchy, with a long shelf life — a cross between a gala and braeburn apple. So ask for Atlanta kanzi and greenstar apples in your local greengrocers Victoria wide.

This new episode is a sit down with Michael Inglis.

Michael is a sport, performance, and exercise psychologist and has been working in the mental health field since 1999. His own practice The Mind Room is a wellbeing and performance psychology practice that focuses on individual maximisation of potential as well as responding to clinical issues. He also has recently been appointed the role of sport psychologist at the North Melbourne Football Club in the AFL.

Diving right into the podcast, we had a great time talking to Michael about the sorts of techniques both athletes and everyday people alike can put in place to make their goals more achievable and realistic. Michael helped us to analyse some of our own thought processes and taught us how to apply mindfulness and visualisation practices to our own training. Hopefully listeners can take some of these strategies away and put them into place as well!

All aboard the Michael Inglis train peeps!

This episode features Deanna Blegg. Deanna is an inspirational woman who has truly done it all. Let me tell you a little about Deanna.

Deanna began her early sporting life as a triathlete. She was so successful in her field that she ended up representing Australia in the 1990 Commonwealth Games. Shortly after the Commonwealth Games Deanna began travelling the world. During this stint of travelling she spent time volunteering in Africa at which point she contracted the HIV virus.

Many years passed for Deanna as she came to grips with the diagnosis, being told multiple times she had X months to live. Deanna decided life was too short to dwell on an illness that she cannot control so set out to take her life back.

Fast forward 20 years and she is happily married with 2 children and has began a successful career as an obstacle/adventure racer. So successful has she been that Deanna finished 2nd in women's division of the Spartan Race World Championships. She also won, the female division of the World's Toughest Mudder. That's right. She won! At an age of over 40!

Deanna Blegg is truly an inspiration and someone who everybody out there can learn from.
